Marilyn Davidson, Founder and President
In 2018, Marilyn Davidson, a seasoned expert with over twenty years of experience, founded the Davidson Consulting Group. Her goal was to build a firm that specializes in both public affairs and lobbying to assist clients with expanding their influence in their communities and with both the regulatory and policy environments. The Davidson Consulting Group clients span various sectors, including criminal justice, public safety, telecommunications, medical care, and pharmaceutical, and the service industry.
Marilyn's passion for assisting organizations in conveying their goals and messages to the community and decision-makers stems from her experience as an in-house employee responsible for advancing policy goals for various nonprofit, public, and state agencies. This role fueled her desire to help organizations effectively share their goals with key stakeholders and supporters.
Active in her community, Marilyn serves on the University of Central Oklahoma Foundation, is a member of her local chamber, and volunteer for various organizations.
A fifth-generation resident of Oklahoma, Marilyn grew up in the state and currently lives in Edmond with her husband, son, and their two rescue dogs. She earned her undergraduate degree in mass communications from the University of Central Oklahoma, and completed her MBA at Oklahoma City University.
